Meet the Instructors
Megan Pappler
Megan has over 18 years of teaching experience and earned her British Horse Society A.I. Teaching Certification while residing in England. She has many students competing successfully from baby novice to preliminary. Megan has brought along many young horses through the various levels of eventing and successfully competed through the intermediate level. In addition teaching and competing, Megan has assisted international riders at the highest levels of competition including the 1996 Olympic Summer Games.
Lauren Lutcavage
Lauren has more than 10 years of teaching experience. She specializes in breaking and training of young horses and has a great eye for a well suited horse and rider combination. She deepened her riding skills and horsemanship as a working student for international rider and FEI judge Mark Weisbecker. She is currently introducing many new students to eventing. Lauren has brought along numerous young horses of her own and competed successfully through intermediate levels of eventing.
Both, Megan and Lauren, believe strongly in continuing education and have trained with Stephen Bradley, Mark Weisbecker, Jessie Steiner, Jill Henenberg, and Kathy Adams. They continue to ride with Sarah Cousins and Lisa Lewis.
Riders can request lessons with Megan, Lauren or one of several assistant instructors. All assistant instructors are talented equestrians successfully competing in combined training.
